Throughout the course of the afternoon, Mike encouraged and challenged me to get in touch with, and honestly express, precisely what it is that I want to do with the talents and gifts I’ve been given. I have always known that the most real part of me is my voice. I have sung songs ever since I could make noises, and I feel most in my element when I am singing. My whole life, I have put music on the backburner in order to pursue my career. What I discovered during Mike’s training is that there are ways that I can incorporate my music into my career and perhaps even make music my career. Since the training, I have begun to see opportunities and make connections in this realm, where before I could not even see these possibilities. It has been a liberating experience to give voice to my desire to sing and touch others through the music that I create.
